Abner Li. YouTube Music in recent weeks has seen a spurt of new features from a revamped Now Playing screen to cloud library uploads. Search also links to streaming services where you can start listening immediately. A tap opens the mobile app or website to the listing, but does not start playback. At the moment, YouTube Music only appears as an option when looking up albums. Knowledge Panels for individual tracks do not include the new service. This is a particular oversight given how people frequently ask Assistant to identify tracks that they hear, or search for songs by lyrics.

You have just finished watching a video on YouTube and really liked the song that was playing in that video. While you are on a YouTube video page, click the video statistics button available below the video player and you will see detailed information about the song including the name of the artist and the album. This trick will only work for videos that are using music from the Audio Swap Library. Option 2 - If a YouTube video includes a popular sound track, you can use a music identification services to figure out the name of that song.
